Résumé du livre

This report is one of 19 final reports of Marine Mammal Study 6 (MM6) titled "Assessment of the magnitude, extent, and duration of oil spill impacts on sea otter populations in Alaska" initiated in 1989 as part of the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA). The study has a broad scope, and final reports may have titles different from the original study title. This report assesses concentration and composition of petroleum hydrocarbons in samples of hair, liver, and intestine taken from sea otter carcasses recovered in the spring and summer of 1989 from locations along the drift route of the oil spilled from the T/V Exxon Valdez in Prince William Sound, Kenai Peninsula, and Kodiak Island.
