Résumé du livre
Extract: Formal school food service programs add to the market for farm commodities. In school year 1977/78, sales of agricultural commodities were higher than they would have been without school feeding programs. This report presents food and commodity data under three alternative assumptions about the number of students who eat lunch. Under all assumptions, the total amount of commodities removed from the market without the programs was less than with them.
