Letters, telegrams and news clippings relating to educational matters: terms and conditions of Beaverbrook scholarship schemes; basis of selection and scholars' progress; discontinuance of chemistry scholarships and of Beaverbrook scholarships awarded to married persons and women (teachers' scholarships excepted in the latter case); appointments to selection committee; possibility of constructing a gymnasium in Chatham, N.B. and a residence at UNB; possible building sites for the new UNB residence; donation toward construction of a paved playing field at Beaverbrook School (Beaverbrook Station, N.B.); shipments of books, paintings, etc. to UNB, St. Thomas College (Chatham, N.B.) and Old Manse Library (Newcastle, N.B.) and the redecorating of Somerville House (Fredericton, N.B.) and the Lady Beaverbrook Building.
