The Bone Suit is the fourth and final volume of an art and poetry series based on her reinterpretation of the traditional deck of cards in which clubs became trees, diamonds turned into stars, spades transformed into bones or fossils, and hearts remained hearts. The first three books in the House of Cards series were The Heart Suit, published in 2014, and The Tree Suit and The Star Suit, both published in 2015.
