This most recent work from her teaching sabbatical orchestrates words and images in small mixed media works. Other recent shows include From the Ground Up at Kingston Gallery, Double Visions at the Art Complex Museum and group shows in the US and abroad. Represented in turn by the Bromfield Gallery in Boston, The Gimbel Gallery of Contemporary Art in NYC, Arden Gallery in Boston, she continues with the Kingston Gallery in Boston as her home base, www.kingstongallery.comA professor at Montserrat College of Art, she teaches drawing in the Foundation Department and upper level painting classes. The founder of Montserrat's Summer Studio Program in Italy, she continues to use her time and investigations into other cultures, landscapes and histories as themes in her work.Judith Brassard Brown was educated at Boston University's School for the Arts where she received her BFA and MFA.
