Résumé du livre
This teacher's guide was designed to be used alone, or as a supplemental teaching aid for the Adventures in Art textbook series. It's intent is to enrich the study of art by emphasizing: the appreciation of art, mastery of basic art concepts and skills, and self-expression and higher-level thinking skills. The images used in the reproductions have been chosen to represent a variety of art forms, styles, themes, and media. Each "lesson" includes a black and white photograph of the featured art work with the following explanatory sections: key words, about the artist, about the art, correlations to the textbook series, looking at the art, and exploring ideas.
