David Jackson was born in Virginia about 1779 and purchased land in Grainger Co., Tennessee in 1799. He married Anney Bowen in 1800 and served in the military during the War of 1812. They moved to Washington (now Madison) Co., Arkansas about 1831/1832 and he died after 1858. Includes Curtis, Ellingsworth, Spurlock and related families.
