Résumé du livre

Joe Sutton was a successful public relations man to stars, then artists' manager. The first professional feather in his cap was convincing a young songwriter to perform. Doubting if anyone would want to hear him sing, Neil Diamond nonetheless took Sutton's advice, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Eventually, Sutton's world began crashing in around him. Surrounded by past successes and the promise of yet more, he found himself in a deep depression. Therapists and medication helped somewhat, along with support from his family and friends. What eventually pulled Joe out of his doldrums was Vipassana meditation. He began to reevaluate his life, learning to appreciate the people around him, and to recognize just how blessed he really was.

He gave up his business and began to write, realizing the link between Joe Sutton, the LA Fairfax High School football star and Joseph Michael Sutton, self-actualized Hollywood success story. Cary Grant once saw him with his two sons, and remarked, "I think you're the luckiest man I've ever seen." After a lifetime of experience, Joe Sutton has come to agree with him.
