Résumé du livre
Memoirs of Moszkowicz, a Jew born in 1931 in Metz to a family of Polish immigrants. In 1940 he left Metz, along with his mother and sister, to join his father who was doing his military service. The family settled in Toulouse, where they lived until 1945, the father working in his own shoe shop. They avoided persecution after the Germans occupied Toulouse in 1942 because they were not listed as Jews. After the war the family returned to Metz.
