Cohen presents a companion to three standard Akkadian-English dictionaries, and to a few other sources that were not included in those dictionaries for one reason or another. He does not choose between the variances in the dictionaries, but includes all the correspondences cited. The dictionaries are The Assyrian Dictionary of the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, A Concise Dictionary of Akkadian, and Assyrian-English-Assyrian Dictionary.
