This is Anglo-Welsh poetry in the most literal sense. The author is half Welsh and half English and the poems reflect this, the first half set mainly in North Wales; the second half in the North of England. This collection, with some new additions, was first published in print format under the title: 'Winter in Penllyn'. Many of the poems here have appeared in some of the principal poetry magazines in Wales, such as 'The New Welsh Review' and 'Poetry Wales'.
