Evaluating the Need for Alternate Funding Sources

This research paper outlines the process, procedures, and findings of the Fayetteville Fire Department in evaluating the need for Alternate Funding Sources. To shed more light on possible solutions to the financial problems faced by our fire department, this project has been prepared to present various techniques used as Alternate Funding Sources in other jurisdictions and municipalities. Some of these sources are conventional while others are newer and more innovative. For each method of Alternative Funding, there is a brief summary of the program and its positive and negative aspects. With proper research and administration several of the proposed programs could be effectively used to increase funding for the Fayetteville Fire Department.
