A Comparison of Financial Operating Data of Affiliated Food Wholesalers

Accounting data kept on a uniform basis were obtained for 1962 from 50 above-average voluntary and cooperative group wholesale food distributors and for 1963 from 48 distributors. These data were summarized by size of business and by major departments. Several standard operating ratios were also examined for the purpose of developing meaningful relationships.
