Great Start Taita

Great Start is a community-led initiative in Taita, Lower Hutt. After 1200 conversations with local residents,Taita people and Barnardos developed Great Start in 2007. The vision is for Taita to be a community where local people are well connected to each other and to be a great place for children to grow up. Every action focuses on that vision, adpating as needed to suit circumstances. Great Start facilitates these local connections and local residents, groups and organisations to do things themselves.
