When Maggie goes to look at puppies, she sets her heart on a little, cuddly female with soft, golden fur who she wants to name Bailey. When she doesn't have enough money to buy it, she is heartbroken. She knows she can earn enough money to buy from the next litter in the spring, but there is no way that she'll be able to get the puppy she's picked out now. Christmas is coming, though, and her little brother, Dave, thinks she should write a letter to Santa. Maggie thinks she is too old. Can Santa really get all the letters children write?
