Résumé du livre
This report investigates issues concerning the operation of family courts in Great Britain. It presents the findings of an inquiry by the Justice Committee, which was prompted by government proposals to reform legal aid; amend the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass); promote the use of mediation before matters reach court; and increase media access to the family courts. The inquiry also examined the Family Justice Panel's proposal to fundamentally restructure the family court system through the creation of a Family Justice Service. The documents of the report include the findings and recommendations of the inquiry, and evidence submitted. This includes evidence from Australia and Sweden on the presumption of shared parenting and the best interests of the child.
