Résumé du livre
"Mummy berry is a blueberry disease caused by the fungus, Monilinia vaccinii-corymbosi (Figure 1). This disease is prevalent throughout the Pacific Northwest, west of the Cascade Mountain Range, affecting the northern highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) industry. Growers often underestimate the potential of mummy berry to cause substantial yield loss, as it may occur at low levels for many years. Just one year of environmental conditions favorable to the fungus, however, can greatly increase this disease, resulting in dramatic annual yield losses. This publication is intended for blueberry growers in the Pacific Northwest. It briefly describes the mummy berry disease cycle and available management methods."--Page 1.
