"Ameen Rihani's Selected English Letters 1897-1921 begins with one written in April 1897, when he was 20 years old... This selection of letters offers the reader a new perspective on Ameen Rihani who is considered by Arab scholars as the founding father of Arab American literature. This English collection complements his Selected Arabic Letters published posthumously in 1959.
