John Harvey Davidson was a man of many interests. This might or might not be to his advantage. I guess this is true of most people.The story starts with his birth the week they sank the Bismarck. This is just to understand his birthrights as a member of the Black Dutch race in America. The story soon escalates to modern times and his interchanges with society and his loves and hatreds of it. At his second retirement party, he dozes off for a few memories.At age 51, he is not an old man, but he is old enough to know better than some of the messes he finds himself in. this is not intended to be a comedy of errors, but sometimes living in Oklahoma with no one to tell you what to do can create that image.
