The exhibition Let there be rock! takes its name from the AC/DC anthem and delves into three decades of live music venues on the Gold Coast, from the 1970s to 1999. This publication recounts stories from the heyday of live, original music on the Gold Coast, with iconic venues like The Playroom, Bombay Rock, The Patch, Jet Club and Fisherman's Wharf (now all casualties to development), and the international and Australian music acts who played there.
