General description of the collection: The Fischer papers consist of a veterans survey questionnaire in which Corporal Fischer describes his impressions of German soldiers, his reasons for enlisting, his feelings at the cancellaton of the Army Specialized Training Program, on uniforms and rations, on officers, his impressions of displaced persons and prisoners of war, and daily life in the combat zone.
