Résumé du livre
The population of children who speak a language other than English at home has increased dramatically in the last two decades. This book is written as a response to the cry from many practitioners struggling with an accurate method to evaluate children who are English as a Second Language Learners. The book includes specific guidance as to how to conduct ethnographic surveys of parents which are critical to differential diagnosis of difference versus disorder; how to present critical information in a non biased way relevant for culturally linguistically diverse children and conveyance of information relative to formulating a plan to determine who needs to be evaluated and in what language.
