Résumé du livre
Hugh Brown Brown (1883-1975) served in the First Presidency of the Mormon church from 1961 to 1970 -- one of the most controversial decades of Latter-day Saint history. During these years, and earlier, he came to be known among Mormons worldwide as one of the most broad-minded, compassionate, and tolerant of the church's ranking general authorities. Five years before Brown's death, his grandson Edwin B. Firmage conducted a series of candid, in-depth interviews with him. This dictated "autobiography" forms the basis of An Abundant Life, an insightful, refreshing look into the dynamics of church government and the personal, rather than institutional, opinions of one of Mormonism's best-loved leaders.
