This is the fourth and final in the series, Demons Living Among Us. In Volume 3 we read how Veronica recovered from her near mortal stab wounds and dealt with the emotional wounds of losing her baby, her Little Bear Matt and her husband Jimmy. All at the hands of Marissa, whom Veronica labeled as a Demonic Bitch. Come now to Volume IV and watch how she deals with all of her past; and seems to be looking for Mr. Right, to help her feel complete. Her Grandpa Norman has demanded a male child, to carry his name forward. But Veronica still struggles with her sex demons; and is having difficulty connecting with anyone on an emotional level. Four new characters enter the scene to help Veronica figure out who she is and what she really wants out of life. There's her priest Father Dodd. Her sponsor Jane. Thomas the desk clerk; and his gay, butch lover: Hector. Will she watch Marissa die in the gas chamber or forgive her. That is the question.
