Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Thomas Crumbliss (originally Crumley). It is said that Thomas immigrated from Ireland to America in time to serve in the Revolutionary War. It is thought that he married Elizabeth Eastus, daughter of Elisha Eastus. She was born ca. 1754 and died ca. 1851. He probably died before 1832. They were the parents of three children, one daughter and two sons. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and elsewhere.
