Résumé du livre

Virtually all evangelical Christians would say that eternal life is a gift from God received by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Why, then, do several Bible verses refer to eternal life as received by works (e.g., Matt. 19:16, 21, 29; Mark 10:17, 29-30; Luke 10:25; 18:18, 30; John 4:36; 6:27, 54, 58; 12:25; Rom. 2:7; 6:22; Gal. 6:7-8; 1 Tim. 6:12, 19; Jude 21)?Craig demonstrates that the term "eternal life" is used in two different manners in the New Testament - sometimes as a GIFT, received by faith alone - and other times as a REWARD for works. Context determines in which manner the term is being used. He also explains the correct meaning of "eternal life," which has been mistranslated for centuries in most English Bible versions. The eschatological ramifications of this truth are revolutionary, thus Craig's subtitle: "A Revolution in Eschatology."
