Report on intergenerational social mobility in the UK, based on a 1975-78 follow up study of Deebohm Rowntree's survey of poverty amongst low income working class families in York in 1950 - deals with income (correlation of 0.4 to 0.5 between earnings of fathers and sons), living conditions, cultural factors, educational level, work experience, occupational change and apprenticeship.
