Joseph von Bruner was born in Germany ca. 1682. He and his wife had at least six children, 1703-1723. His wife died in Germany. He and his children immigrated to America in 1729 and settled in Frederick County, Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and elsewhere.
