As we all struggle through the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, what could be more useless than a collection of 100 mildly amusing limericks to put things, sort of, into context for us all? Well, by unpopular demand, here's that collection of poetry you didn't know you needed at this highly unusual time. Lockdown Limericks is not a cure or vaccine, but it might be an antidote to boredom while standing in a queue (two metres from someone else of course) or while in lockdown at home, or even in isolation in bed. Is laughter the best medicine? We'll never know. But if smirking comes a close second to laughter in the medicinal charts, then Lockdown Limericks could be just what the doctor ordered.
