Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Alexander Irwine (or Erwin) who was likely born ca. 1797 in Ireland. He married Martha (Semai) McMullen ca. 1820. They lived in the Townland of New Buildings, Ballymoney Parish, Ireland and were the parents of ten children. Alexander died ca. 1836 and Martha immigrated to America with some of her children ca. 1847 and settled in the Ottawa Valley of Ouebec. Descendants lived primarily in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
