Contemporary Artist and Poet Robert D. Fisher presents a collection of original Zen inspired Tanka poetry in English. 'Specular' takes the reader on a journey through awakening, the causes behind suffering and teachings for a life of harmony with and as a part of nature. Here, art and poetry are used as a tool to communicate the Dharma. The work acts as an entry point to spiritual awakening or enrich an ongoing journey. It is written to aid the end of suffering, within and without, of which the boundary is all but illusion.
