Résumé du livre

As technology becomes a growing force in the way wars are waged, we're forced to reconsider how to defend our country and how to counterattack.

In this modern-age spy thriller, follow the precarious missions of capable and confident Jagger Lawton. Recruited by Special Forces to be an operative in the Special Activities Division, he must mastermind a cyber attack that will stall Iran's nuclear weapons before they can be unleashed.

Prior to leaving for Iran on the mission, Lawton finds himself captivated by the beautiful and equally capable Lui Lin, who becomes a vital partner to him, creating worms and viruses that enable him to carry out his assignments.

Soon after his job in Iran, Jagger is given his next mission, which requires Lin's skills as well. They must gather two teams and work together to stop all threatening cyber activity by China. One group of colleagues, made up of seasoned veterans, travels to Shanghai to carry out their plans of infiltrating the Chinese internal communications system.

Through strategic detainment, the team is able to distract a Chinese general and upload a virus onto his laptop, confirming their fears of a planned cyber attack against the United States.
