Résumé du livre

A team surveyed invasive plants along three major highways in Interior Alaska that were affected by the 2004 and 2005 fires with emphasis on roadsides and adjacent Bureau of Land Management lands. It is believed the severe fires during those years may have facilitated the expansion of non-native plants into previously undisturbed, natural areas. The authors provide recommendations for removal or constraint of the infestations. Field work was carried out in July and August 2006. During the 2007 season, the team revisited all control and photo-monitoring plots surveyed in 2006, and recorded new non-native species populations not detected in 2006.
