Résumé du livre
This collection owes everything to lockdowns.
As a collector of rubbish for a wage I was a worker of social value and permitted to be out while the rest of the population shielded or was under threat of prosecution, confined.
By going to walk on foot I had time to feed of the change to the urban space and the impact of the rapid updates on deaths and cases to run though emotionally.
Working in a very physical way collecting and sorting used food and beverage containers made reading scholarly articles added an edge to the writing.
Finding:
Respiratory Medicine by M. Schonell a Livingstone Medical Text published in 1974 (I found a 1981 reprint)
Reading it I realised it felt current. Perhaps this book will to.
Every word written on journey to work and edited on the walk home.
There had been some fettling since but the words are a protest and you cannot edit a shout.
