Contains Margaret Chung's personal writings, draft of an autobiography, speeches, addresses, radio script, tribute to Sophie Tucker, lyrics, as well as correspondence with Madame Chiang Kai-shek from 1943 to 1952, photographs of the President and Madame, and general correspondence. The majority of the collection consists of correspondence with her military "sons," among them Senator Albert B. Chandler, Brigadier General Russell Randall, Edward Albert Heimberger, Admiral W.F. Halsey and Fleet Admiral C.W. Nimitz. Also included are biographies of some of her "sons" written by Chung, commendations, writings on the war and almanac by "sons," press releases, printed military materials, memory books, and many photographs of Chung and her military "sons," their families, and friends. Also contains three scrapbooks, one with 96 pages of newspaper clippings and articles relating to Chung, events in her life, her military "sons" and a lecture announcement. The other two have signatures by the presenters and blank pages.
