This book demonstrates how to diagnose and identify the strengths and weaknesses of production management in companies of different industries, with the objective of providing aid subsidies for investment decisions, strategic information and opportunities to improve processes through the Lean Production approach. The implementation of the Enterprise Diagnostic Method (EDM), according to the Lean approach, develops through stages of workshops meant for self-assessments within the company through a broad questionnaire, the applications of the Value Stream Mapping tool (VSM) or by assessing the operations and services of the company which allows planning actions to improve management of the team's ability and to orient Hoshin planning and Strategic Management in an integrated and sustainable way.
