Résumé du livre

"This collection of work is just beautiful. The author delves into the internal world of feelings and reactions of all walks of life and captures the spirit of people and animals. She has the ability to describe the complex insecurities we all feel, which is frequently inexplicable. With one line ,she can expose exactly how you have felt. Sue has a close eye on the usual , like a café, and through her sensitive observations, you see what she sees. Perhaps the most charming and heart breaking work is when she writes about animals and the effect humans have on them. When she writes from the animal's perspective you cannot fail to understand them and their lives more. She uses animals to understand humans more too, like disability ( or differently abled as Sue more accurately puts it). She allows readers to moralise without feeling lectured. That is a great gift. There is humour in her work too. Sweet, charming and warm. Her writing comes in shades, often in the same piece. In the positive there is something melancholic; in the melancholic there is something positive. It's life, captured. "Barbara Jennion BA ( Hons) MDip.
