(London, 1678), once owned by Thomas Pennant (1726-98), naturalist and traveller (see The Literary Life of Thomas Pennant by himself (1793), p. 1), to which has been added a list of bird names in Latin and English in Pennant's hand (ff. ii-iv). Items found loose in the volume have been filed separately (NLW MS 22731iiE). A letter, 1966, tipped in on f. i, relates to previous ownership.
