Part 1 covers Russia and part 2 the Ukraine. Issues discussed in each part include the state of each country's economy, the political situation, security & foreign policy, Canadian involvement, and Canadian foreign policy objectives. Recommendations to address these issues are made throughout. Appendices include information on the Russian constitution & parliamentary election results and tables of economic indicators for the two countries
