Signed autograph letter, dated January 21, 1896, to T.W. (Theodore Wesley) Koch, concerning Arnold's verses on Dante, published on pp. 295-296 of "The Secret of Death," and with a note by Koch on the bottom of the third page. Also, a handwritten quote from Arnold's "Light of the World," presumably in Arnold's hand, with a note by Arnold's niece on the verso stating that this quote was sent to her when she asked her uncle "for a suitable quotation for a charitable appeal"; and a typed copy of the same quote, followed by a brief biographical sketch of Arnold.
