My name is Lily Allyson Liu. I was born and raised in China and Taiwan but have lived for forty-two years in America; the cultural differences between the East and West are more than different. Throughout my life, even from a very young age, I always yearned to be close to music, or get a formal education in music. But life is not always as perfect as one would hope. After having fulfilled my obligations as daughter, wife, and mother, and with a long-term career as a buyer in public utilities and the aviation industries, I retired. Fortunately, after all those years of hard work, I became financially secure. This achievement enabled me to finally engage in my first love-music-and also, traveling. I've always been interested in meeting new people, and have been able to make new friends easily, and on one of my travel experiences, I met a fellow musician who would change my life forever.The story I have recorded here is a true reflection of my nature and of that story.
