This text examines the range of European courts, showing how they relate to each other, the development of their powers and how this represents the beginnings of a court structure for Europe. Coverage is given to the European Court of Justice, the Court of First Instance and the EFTA Court of Justice, all three of which are closely intertwined. Also covered are the European Court and the Commission of Human Rights.
