Primarily consists of typescript copies of texts related to the presentation of a bust of the late governor Samuel Walker McCall, February 28, 1925. These transcript materials include: Massachusetts 1925 House Bill 170, Resolve providing for the placing the State House of a bust of the late Governor Samuel Walker McCall; the invitation to the presentation of the bust; the address of Charles L. Burrill; and excerpts from the address Charles W. Eliot. Also included are original materials: two pages of typed notes containing details about the event and the volume; a newspaper clipping of a photograph of the event; a typescript signed letter from President Calvin Coolidge (who served as lieutenant governor under McCall) to Charles L. Burrill, dated February 17, 1925, expressing satisfaction that Governor McCall was being memorialized; and a typescript signed letter from Supreme Court Chief Justice William Taft to McCall's widow, expressing his regrets at being unable to attend.
