When my son was in third grade, his school had a day of the month when a parent would come in and read a picture book to the class. When that day came for me, I decided to write and draw my own picture book as quickly as I could, just for my boy and me. It's the story of a tinkerer-farmer trying to make breakfast for his hungry son, and their eccentric, electrically-powered animals who do their best to help young Connor get his eggs and get off to school!
