This book is an account of journalist and documentarist Guido Ferrari's journey to discover the great secret that lies within us: there is an indestructible harmony in us, full of joy and beauty. Along the way, Ferrari meets great personalities such as the Dalai Lama, Eugène Ionesco, Simon Wiesenthal, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, Matthieu Ricard, and many more. This book recounts his experiences of meditation with great lamas, various states of consciousness, multidimensional reality, UFOs, psychoanalysis, Buddhism, and shamanism. Guido Ferrari is a journalist, director, and spiritual explorer. He holds a degree in economics and social sciences from the University of Bern, and also has training in psychoanalysis and shamanism. As a journalist, director, and producer for the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation and later as a freelance documentarist, he has conducted many interviews and created numerous portraits of famous people, along with documentaries on spirituality and historical themes.

Among the people he has interviewed are the Dalai Lama, Erich Fromm, Karl Popper, Marie-Louise von Franz, Eugène Ionesco, Ervin László, Claude Lévi Strauss, Simon Wiesenthal, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Robert Monroe, Matthieu Ricard, James Low, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and Tulku Thondup.

His documentaries have focused on a range of topics, from life after death, reincarnation, journeys of consciousness, and various aspects of Buddhism to UFOs, spiritual healers, and places of power. Historical topics include Switzerland and World War II, Switzerland and the Jews, and the German surrender in Northern Italy.
