Lieutenant Gibbs might be Samuel Gibbs, of the Invalid Regiment, of which Colonel Nicola is the commanding officer. Sends his respects to Mrs. Lucy Knox. At the bottom of the letter, Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide-de-camp, has written Granted a furlough for six weeks 25 Octo.
