The aim of this study was to provide estimates of the vehicle repair costs of road accidents in Western Australia using the approach to accident classification developed by Andreassen (1990). The study is part of a wider project that is examining different components of road accident costs in Western Australia. The data was contained in a property damages database for Western Australia.
