Résumé du livre
Little Red Bird of La Pointe is a work of fiction full of love, sadness, happiness, and adventure. The story takes place in the year 1641, before America was full of settlers and there were a great many Indians living on the land. The earth was a magnificent place to live where the rivers ran clear and clean. There was an abundance of food to be found off the land. La Pointe is a place in Wisconsin where the Chippewa Tribe once thrived. They called themselves A¢a¬EAnishinabe,A¢a¬a¢ which means A¢a¬EFirst Man,A¢a¬a¢ and were believed to be one of the bravest tribes of the Algonquian Stock. Little Red Bird is the name especially given to a unique baby boy taken in by the tribe. However, Little Red Bird ends up touching the hearts of many in his tribe.
