Field notes Vol. 173 documents Nathaniel Lord Britton's botanical collecting in the Bahamas in 1907 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with co-collector Charles Frederick Millspaugh. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 5354-6370, collected February 14-March 21, 1907 in the Bahamas. The notebook includes dates and locations, and entries have very brief descriptive information on the plant and/or habitat. Most entries do not have the full plant name. The first page of the notebook lists Millspaugh's specimen numbers 2503-2510 collected February 12, 1907.
