Résumé du livre
Daily entries by a young lady attending a boarding school apparently in or near Williamstown, Massachusetts. She embellished her written entries with printed lines from a magazine or newspaper, photographs, drawings, and mementos. Most of her entries are about a young man named Alex, how she misses him, and how she thinks about him all the time. Volume one contains entries for 1920, followed by additional entries for 1923 and 1924. The second volume dates from 1921. A label on the volumes indicates there were once three diaries, but only these two have been found to date. Genevieve was born in New Haven and later lived in Hartford, Connecticut.
